Advertise Your Small Business Like The Politicians Do
by Tom Egelhoff
In any given election year you'll probably notice a lot of yard signs for all parties. Why can't you advertise your business in the same way.
If you're in a construction type business offer your clients a discount if they will let you put an advertising sign with your company name on it in their yard for a week or two.
Bonus: It will attract the attention of your clients neighbor who will ask what was done and how they liked the job.
Check with your local government first before trying this. You may be violating a sign ordinance.
